Serious equity research has always been gated behind expensive terminals and analyst teams. Equity Research Lab puts that workflow into a conversation — so any investor can get a structured, multi-angle read on an Indian stock in seconds.
Why we built it
Most retail investors choose between two bad options: a number on a screen with no context, or hours of manual digging across a dozen sites. We wanted the middle path — the depth of a research analyst with the speed of a search box.
Equity Research Lab reads live market data, company financials, institutional and derivatives flows, news sentiment, technicals, and the macro backdrop. It weighs them according to your time horizon and hands back a clear, sourced view — the same way a good analyst would brief you.
How the analysis works
Behind a single question sits a small team of specialist desks — technical, fundamental, flow, sentiment, and macro. They work in parallel, each producing an evidence-backed read, and a supervisor combines them into a composite, educational summary — never a recommendation. Desks that can't find reliable data are excluded rather than allowed to drag the result down. You can see more on the features page.

Who's behind it
equityresearchlab.in is built and run by Ranjit Jana, an independent developer. It started as a way to get analyst-grade research on Indian stocks without an analyst's price tag, and it's built in the open with no fund, broker, or advisory tie-ins. If you'd like to reach out, see our contact page.
